Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer / Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong hands-on technical background combined with engineering problem-solving capabilities.
• With a minimum of 5 years of active field experience, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex electrical faults, control panels, wiring, and industrial/commercial machinery.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

Installation & Commissioning:

• Read, interpret, and work directly from electrical blue-prints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Install, configure, and commission new electrical infrastructure, distribution boards, and specialized equipment.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure all electrical installations and repairs strictly comply with local safety standards, regulations, and industry codes.
• Conduct regular safety audits of electrical systems and implement necessary corrective actions.

Technical Support & Reporting:

• Provide technical guidance to junior technicians or team members on-site.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, material usage, and system upgrades.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Trade Test Certification, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Experience: 5+ years of verified hands-on experience working as an electrical engineer or industrial/commercial technician.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, insulation testers).
  • Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems, control circuits, and PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is highly desirable.
  • Deep familiarity with electrical safety protocols (e.g., Lockout/Tagout).
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.

Salary Range
N150,000 – N250,000 per month (Negotiable based on depth of experience and technical expertise).
