The company’s holding group “Golden Phoenix” is always on the lookout internationally for products’ manufacturers that fulfill the customers and consumers needs. Products are made available to Kheir Industry & Trade Limited via its’ holding group “Golden Phoenix” that handles international purchasing for all its subsidiaries. Products are marketed, sold and distributed using top of the line tools, techniques and technologies, ensuring optimum product visibility, distribution and performance.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Executive to drive sales growth and expand the company's presence across sales channels but particularlyModern Trade.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with key retail accounts, identifying new business opportunities, increasing product visibility, and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Experience in the HORECA channel will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with key accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market share.
  • Negotiate product listings, promotions, pricing, and trade agreements with customers.
  • Execute sales and merchandising strategies to improve product visibility and availability.
  • Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of assigned targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment and excellent customer service.
  • Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and emerging market trends.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, account plans, and performance reports.
  • Support business development initiatives across other sales channels where required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3years' experience in business development or sales, with a strong focus on the Modern Trade channel.
  • Proven experience managing key retail accounts and delivering sales growth.
  • Experience selling FMCG, consumer goods, household products, or related products is preferred.
  • HORECA sales experience will be an added advantage.
  • Experience working in a structured and performance-driven organization.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
