Job Title: Senior Python Developer

Job Summary

• We are building advanced AI systems that understand, generate, and debug Python code at a senior engineer level.
• We need a Senior Python Developer to help us build the infrastructure, pipelines, and evaluation frameworks that power our models.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines for large-scale code datasets (cleaning, deduplication, filtering, and augmentation.
• Build evaluation harness to benchmark model performance on real-world Python tasks (LeetCode-style, open-source repos, internal tests suites).
• Develop internal tooling (FastAPI, CLI tools, background workers) to streamline model experimentation and deployment.
• Optimize inference performance – caching, batching, async I/O, and memory profiling.
• Integrate with LLM APIs and open-source models (vLLM, TGI, Transformers) to build reuseable Python abstractions.
• Write robust tests, type-annotated code, and comprehensive documentation.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to translate research prototypes into scalable, maintainable Python services.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional Python experience (3.11+), with deep knowledge of the standard library, asyncio, typing, and packaging.
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and Celery or similar task queues.
• Proven track record building data-intensive applications – handling millions of records, working with Parquet/JSONL, and using tools like Dask, Ray, or Polars.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) -S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS, or similar.
• Familiarity with ML/Ops practices -model versioning, experiment tracking (MLflow/Weights & Biases), and CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills (cProfile, memory_profilier, etc.).

Salary
N700,000 - N1,000,000 monthly.
