We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior JavaScript Developer

Location: Remote

Job Summary 

• We are building the next generation of AI-powered developer tools, and we need a Senior JavaScript Developer who can bridge the gap between production-grade code and model training data.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute semantic annotation pipelines for JavaScript/TypeScript code snippets, including function logic, error handling, async patterns, and security flows.
• Collaborate with ML engineers to define annotation schemas that capture execution traces, data flow, and edge cases in real-world JS applications.
• Build internal tooling (Node.js, React) to accelerate annotation QA, versioning, and active learning loops.
• Review and refine model-generated JS code- identify hallucinations, inefficiencies, and style violations.
• Contribute to synthetic data generation by writing adversarial examples that stress-test model reasoning.
• Mentor junior annotators on JS best practices and advanced language features (closures, proxies, generators, etc.).

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience, with at least 5 years heavily focused on modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of ASTs, scope chains, event loop, and memory management in v8.
• Experience building or fine-tuning AI/ML models (LLMs, code-generation models, or NLP systems).
• Hands-on with annotation tools (Label Studio, Prodigy, or custom pipelines) and versioned datasets.
• Proven experience with AWS/ Azure/GCP (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS). Strong working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/CDK).
• Strong grasp of test-driven development, static analysis, and performance profiling.
• Ability to write clear, structured documentation for guidelines and taxonomies.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication. Ability to influence stakeholders, write clear architectural decision records (ADRs).

Salary
N700,000 – N1,000,000 per month.
