Tophire Africa - Our client in the Asset Management or Finance industry, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales / Marketing Manager 

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Sales/Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving asset growth, acquiring and retaining High Net-Worth Individuals, Corporate, and Institutional clients for the firm’s investment products.
  • The ideal candidate will combine strong relationship management with aggressive business development to meet AUM and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales:

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new HNW, corporate, and institutional clients
  • Meet and exceed set targets for AUM growth, fund mobilization, and revenue
  • Develop and execute sales plans and market penetration strategies
  • Cross-sell mutual funds, portfolio management, fixed income, and alternative investment products.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and upselling
  • Provide investment insights, market updates, and periodic portfolio reviews to clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client onboarding, complaints, and service delivery.

Marketing & Brand:

  • Drive marketing campaigns, webinars, and client engagement events to build brand awareness
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop pitch decks, brochures, and marketing content
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and client needs to position our offerings effectively.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and client data in CRM
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales and market reports for management
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with SEC, CBN, and internal compliance policies.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing or related field. MBA/MSc is an advantage
  • Experience: 5 -7 years experience in Sales/Marketing within Asset Management, Investment Banking, Private Banking, or Financial Services
  • Track Record: Proven ability to onboard and manage HNW and Corporate clients with a demonstrable portfolio
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of investment products: Mutual Funds, Fixed Income, Equities, Structured Products, Portfolio Management

Salary
N400,000 - N500,000 monthly.
