Job Title: Social Media & Content Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, fashion-forward, and results-driven Social Media & Content Manager to lead our client's digital presence and content strategy.
This role is ideal for someone who genuinely understands fashion, luxury branding, and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for planning, creating, shooting, editing, publishing, and managing engaging content across multiple social media platforms while driving audience growth, brand awareness, and client acquisition.
You should be someone who can independently own the brand's online presence, stay ahead of digital trends, and create content that feels authentic to the brand without requiring constant direction.
You will work closely with the Creative Director and collaborate with external creatives where necessary to ensure consistent, high-quality content delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Creation:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy aligned with the brand's business goals, wedding seasons, and styling calendar.
Create monthly content calendars across all relevant social media platforms.
Plan, shoot, edit, and publish high quality photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
Create engaging short form video content including Reels, behind-the-scenes footage, bridal education, styling tips, and trend based content.
Write compelling captions and copy that reflect the brand's voice while driving engagement.
Design simple promotional graphics, flyers, and visual assets where required.
Stay informed on fashion, bridal, luxury, and social media trends to keep the brand relevant and competitive.
Social Media Management & Community Growth:
Manage the brand's social media platforms on a day to day basis.
Schedule and publish content consistently using content management tools.
Respond promptly and professionally to comments, direct messages, and audience enquiries while maintaining the brand's tone and reputation.
Grow the brand's online community through strategic content, audience engagement, and community management.
Identify opportunities for influencer partnerships, collaborations, and strategic brand campaigns that align with the company's positioning.
Photography, Videography & Event Coverage:
Capture high quality photo and video content during bridal appointments, fittings, weddings, and other brand events.
Confidently shoot content using professional cameras or mobile devices.
Edit photos and videos suitable for luxury social media platforms.
Coordinate with external photographers, videographers, and video editors where necessary to ensure timely delivery of content.
Digital Marketing:
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation.
Manage paid social media advertising campaigns across Meta and other relevant platforms.
Support broader marketing initiatives and contribute ideas that strengthen the overall brand strategy.
Assist with website content updates where required.
Analytics & Performance:
Monitor content performance across all platforms using analytics tools.
Prepare regular reports highlighting growth, engagement, reach, and campaign performance.
Make data-driven recommendations to improve content strategy, audience growth, and conversion.
Continuously test new content formats, trends, and marketing approaches to improve overall performance.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience managing social media and digital marketing for a fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or similar brand.
A genuine passion for fashion, luxury branding, and visual storytelling.
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and emerging social media trends.
Excellent photography and videography skills, including shooting with smartphones and professional cameras.
Strong video editing skills.
Exceptional copywriting and communication skills.
Ability to create aesthetically pleasing, on-brand content with minimal supervision.
Experience developing content calendars and executing digital marketing campaigns.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Flexible availability to accommodate occasional evenings, weekends, and both Nigerian and US working hours due to the international client base.
Technical Skills
Experience using:
Canva
CapCut
Meta Business Suite
Google Analytics
Content scheduling platforms (Later or similar)
Basic website management tools (an advantage).
Preferred Qualifications
Experience within the bridal, wedding, fashion, luxury, or lifestyle industry.
Knowledge of the Nigerian and African diaspora wedding market.
Experience managing influencer collaborations.
Graphic design skills.
Website management experience.
Basic video production experience beyond social media editing.
