Engineering Sales and Stakeholder Management Lead at Safety Consultants Solutions Provider (SCSP)

SCSP is a leading service provider of Operational Risk Management Service for Protection of Life, Environment, Asset and Business Continuity. In the course of doing business over the past 15 years, we have identified skills and knowledge gaps in Fire and Security Risk Assessment, Engineering and Construction as a critical challenge to business and society at large. SCSP business strategy is to provide quality engineering solutions and consultancy services that rely on innovation as a core disquisition.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Engineering Sales and Stakeholder Management Lead

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Engineering Sales & Stakeholder Management Lead is responsible for driving strategic business growth by developing and executing engineering-focused sales, stakeholder engagement, and partnership initiatives.
  • The role will position SCSP as a trusted technical advisor by identifying opportunities, building strategic relationships, managing key accounts, and promoting the Company's engineering, fire safety, process safety, HSE, and risk management solutions across priority sectors.
  • The position requires strong expertise in technical sales, business development, stakeholder engagement, key account management, and commercial strategy, with responsibility for achieving sustainable revenue growth while strengthening relationships with clients, regulators, industry associations, professional bodies, and strategic partners.

Key Responsibilities
Engineering Sales & Business Development:

  • Develop and implement strategic engineering sales plans aligned with SCSP's business objectives.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across public and private sector organizations.
  • Promote SCSP's engineering consultancy, fire engineering, process safety, HSE, operational risk management, and technical advisory services.
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through contract award.
  • Prepare technical proposals, quotations, presentations, bids, and commercial submissions.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close business opportunities.

Stakeholder & Partnership Management:

  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with regulators, professional bodies, industry associations, developers, consultants, contractors, and corporate organizations.
  • Identify partnership opportunities that support business growth and market expansion.
  • Represent SCSP at industry events, conferences, exhibitions, technical forums, and networking engagements.
  • Coordinate strategic engagements with government agencies and key decision-makers.
  • Maintain long-term stakeholder engagement plans to strengthen SCSP's market position.

Key Account Management:

  • Develop and manage strategic client accounts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize retention and repeat business.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling engineering services.
  • Coordinate post-project client engagement and customer satisfaction initiatives.
  • Monitor contract performance and identify future business opportunities.

Technical Sales Management:
Pre-Sales:

  • Conduct client needs assessments and project scoping.
  • Analyze client requirements, budgets, procurement processes, and technical specifications.
  • Coordinate bid/no-bid decisions.
  • Support tender preparation and technical proposal development.
  • Perform competitor and stakeholder analysis.

Sales Execution:

  • Deliver technical presentations and solution demonstrations.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
  • Manage opportunity pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Track sales performance against established targets.

Post-Sales:

  • Coordinate client onboarding and project handover.
  • Maintain customer relationships throughout project execution.
  • Manage after-sales support and identify future opportunities.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5-7 years of cognate experience in Engineering Sales, Business Development, or Technical Consulting, preferably within Fire Engineering, Process Safety, HSE, Engineering Consultancy, Oil & Gas, Construction, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Infrastructure, or related technical industries.
  • Proven experience managing strategic accounts and developing business opportunities, with an established network of industry contacts across Nigeria and the West African region.
  • Must be 35 years and above.
  • Must Live around Ajah and Environs.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 / month.
