Job Title: Risk Strategist - Collections

Location: Lagos

Description

• We're growing our Risk Management function and are looking for experienced professionals who can use data, strategy, and analytical thinking to strengthen our credit portfolio and drive better business decisions.
• This is a strategic, not purely operational, role.
• We're looking for professionals who can analyze trends, identify risks, and develop solutions that improve portfolio quality across the credit lifecycle.
• If you have experience in banking, financial services, fintech, or consumer lending and enjoy solving complex credit risk challenges, we'd love to hear from you
• We're seeking a data-driven professional who can protect portfolio quality by identifying early warning signals and developing proactive collection strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor portfolio health and identify emerging repayment risks.
• Develop customer segmentation and intervention strategies.
• Analyze repayment behaviour and delinquency trends.
• Design early warning and portfolio preservation initiatives.
• Generate insights to improve underwriting decisions and reduce defaults.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 4–6 years' experience in Collections, Credit Risk, or Portfolio Management.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in banking, fintech, or consumer lending is preferred.

Salary
N800,000 Gross Monthly.
