Job Title: Head of Treasury Management & Funds Management

Job Summary

• The Head of Treasury Management & Funds Management will oversee the organization’s treasury operations, liquidity management, cash flow optimization, and investment of funds.
• The role is responsible for ensuring adequate liquidity, maximizing returns on surplus funds, managing financial risks, maintaining banking relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in treasury operations within the banking or fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement treasury and funds management strategies aligned with the organization’s financial objectives.
• Oversee daily cash positioning, liquidity planning, and working capital management.
• Manage the organization’s investment portfolio to optimize returns while maintaining adequate liquidity.
• Monitor and forecast cash flows to ensure sufficient funding for operational and strategic needs.
• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, payment partners, and investors.
• Oversee foreign exchange transactions, money market activities, and short-term investments where applicable.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate liquidity, interest rate, and financial market risks.
• Ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations, internal treasury policies, and applicable financial regulations.
• Prepare treasury reports, liquidity forecasts, and investment performance reports for executive management.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, Operations, and Compliance teams to support strategic business initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the treasury and funds management team while driving operational efficiency.

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s / HND Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Master’s Degree and / or professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, CFA, ACT, or CTP will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Treasury, Funds Management, Corporate Finance, or Financial Markets, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role within Banking, FinTech, Financial Services, or Investment Management.

N400,000 - N500,000 / month.
