At Access Heart Foundation, we are dedicated to transforming the healthcare landscape for underserved communities across Nigeria, with a primary focus on heart health. Despite cardiovascular disease being the leading cause of death globally, access to life-saving cardiac interventions remains out of reach for hundreds of millions of Nigerians, particularly in Northern Nigeria. The crisis is especially acute for children: over 80% of Nigerian children born with congenital heart defects die, compared to less than 5% in high-income countries. This disparity is not inevitable, it’s the result of geographic and economic barriers that we are systematically dismantling.

Job Title: Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Manager

About The Role

• The Partnerships & Resource Mobilization Manager will build and manage AHF's external partnership and fundraising pipeline, tracking opportunities, leading grant applications, stewarding donor relationships, and developing the materials and proposals that bring partners into AHF's work.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage AHF's grant and fundraising pipeline: identifying opportunities, tracking deadlines, and leading or supporting applications
• Develop compelling grant proposals, concept notes, and partnership pitches for a range of funders including foundations, bilateral donors, and corporate partners
• Steward existing donor and partner relationships: regular updates, reporting, and relationship maintenance
• Support the Executive Director in high-value relationship conversations 
• Develop partnership materials: profiles, case for support documents, one-pagers, and tailored proposals
• Track and report on the performance of AHF's resource mobilization efforts
• Identify and pursue corporate sponsorship opportunities
• Work closely with the Communications Coordinator to ensure fundraising materials reflect AHF's storytelling strategy

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in partnerships, fundraising, or resource mobilization, ideally in a nonprofit, NGO, or development organization
• Demonstrated success in securing grants or partnerships from foundations, bilateral donors, or corporate partners
• Exceptional written communication: ability to write compelling, funder-ready proposals and concept notes
• Strong relationship management skills and professional presence
• Familiarity with global health, maternal health, or cardiovascular health as a funding landscape is an advantage
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple concurrent opportunities and deadlines
