Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manger

Responsibitlies

• The Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company's customer acquisition, sales, and marketing strategies to drive business growth, increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and achieve revenue targets.
• Develop and implement marketing and customer acquisition strategies.
• Drive departmental revenue and portfolio growth monthly.
• Develop initiatives to increase customer acquisition and retention.
• Identify new market opportunities and growth channels while monitoring competitor activities and market trends.
• Lead, supervise, and manage all staff within the Marketing Department.
• Set departmental KPIs and performance expectations and monitor individual and team performance against targets.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching sessions and recommend training, conference, seminars, boot-camp for department development.
• Ensure achievement of customer acquisition, application, disbursement, and portfolio targets.
• Monitor lead generation, conversion, and customer retention activities and making sure records are kept properly.
• Support the team in closing high-value opportunities.
• Develop strategies to improve conversion rates and customer engagement.
• Oversee digital marketing campaigns across all channels and monitor campaign performance and return on investment.
• Ensure alignment between digital marketing activities, company expenditure and revenue generated.
• Review and approve marketing content and campaigns.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly departmental performance reports while ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Develop, implement, and review departmental SOPs and SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Credit, Risk, Audit, and, HR, Administration teams etc.
• Provide strategic recommendations to Management.
• Conduct regular performance reviews for all team members in line with company performance management policies.
• Monitor and evaluate individual employee KPI achievement, productivity, attendance, conduct, and overall contribution to departmental objectives.
• Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports and recommendations to the HR Department.
• Identify training and development needs within the team and recommend appropriate learning interventions.
• Recommend deserving employees for promotion, salary review, recognition, and career advancement based on performance and competency.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees.
• Work closely with HR on disciplinary matters, succession planning, workforce planning, and employee retention initiatives.
• Participate in performance review meetings, provide strategic feedback to management and provide documented evidence supporting recommendations for promotion, training, confirmation, transfer, or termination decisions.
• Represent the department in management meetings where required.
• Experience in a fintech company, finance house, microfinance bank, Commercial Bank, loan company or financial institution is highly preferred. (Have banking marketing experience is very important)
• Know how to use CRM systems and can track company performance in sales
• Proven track record of leading teams and achieving business growth targets.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 3 - 4 years experience.

Salary
N350,000 - N500,000 monthly.
