We are recruiting for the positions of:
1.) Health System Strengthening Officer
Location: Abuja
- Incumbent provides information to assist the Organization in setting the broad parameters for HSS initiatives and for supporting the State program managers as they implement HSS activities
- Conducts research into and performs analysis on topics that influence health system strengthening, sustainability frameworks
- Support the state Program Managers and Service Providers in the planning, execution and evaluation of health system strengthening activities
- Coordinates the implementation of the activities aimed at improving efficiency of grant utilization and sustainability of supported sites
- Harmonizing health system strengthening initiatives with site management and sustainability plans and activities.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Degree in Public Health, Health Services Management or related field with considerable experience in working with indigenous partners in Nigeria. Strong understanding of the Nigerian Health Services system
- At least 5 years post NYSC experience working on HIV/AIDS and Health programs funded by PEPFAR or other international assistance organizations
- Experience in organizational needs assessments situation analysis program design and management and monitoring and evaluation
2.) Senior Health System Strengthening Associate x4
Location: Abuja
- Incumbent provides information in setting the broad parameters for HSS initiatives as HSS activities are implemented
- Coordinates and communicates these activities. Assess the capacity of staff to implement HSS activities, and support the development of tools and resources to build capacity of staff to transfer capacities to LPs and Service Providers
- Develop Indicators for measuring the achievement of HSS and sustainability objectives, and the systems to operationalize them
- Document plans for HSS activities and communicate these plans using approved channels
- Prepare progress and other written reports on HSS activities including the S/APR, and funders reports.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Degree in Public Health, Health Services Management or related field with considerable experience in working with indigenous partners in Nigeria . Understanding of the Nigerian Health Services system
- At least 3 years post NYSC experience working on HIV/AIDS and Health programs funded by PEPFAR or other international assistance organizations
- Experience in organizational needs assessments situation analysis program design/management and monitoring/evaluation
3.) Senior Adherence Associate
Location: Benue
- Incumbent works with the case management teams to provide clinical and case specific supervision and case management services to clients and their families with treatment adherence issues and/or unstable status related to disease management.
- Liaise with medical and case management treatment teams; provide individual, family, and group adherence support and education; provide technical assistance to case management staff regarding disease and medication management.
- Ensure that patients enrolled are provided with comprehensive health education and information about HIV/AIDS, STI, Positive Living and ARV drugs
- Participate in building the capacity of adherence team to perform assessment counseling with ARV candidates, identify potential strengths and weaknesses in relation to predicted drug adherence
- Oversee training of health care workers and PLHIV in adherence support
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Degree in health education, public health or relevant field
- At least 3 years post NYSC working Experience working with HIV/AIDS and Anti-retro-viral treatments. Willingness to participate in HIV-related training and meetings
- Ability to organize and coordinate diverse activities
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and make reasoned judgments in a timely fashion.
4.) Senior Associate HCT & Prevention
Location: Akwa Ibom, Benue, Gombe, Cross Rivers & Kogi
- Incumbent supports HCT program objectives, drawing plans and overseeing the implementation of the care and support service delivery in line with the guidelines and national plans on care and support.
- Will liaise with others on the relevant care and support activities implemented at the CBOs and health facilities, provide support, build and strengthen community based structures and systems through which services are delivered.
- Works with MOHs and other state agencies to design and put in place a strong supervision system for HIV/AIDS Testing and counseling (HCT) sites.
- Strengthens quality assurance (QA) for both H IV testing and counseling for mobile, and community based rapid counseling and testing (RCT) services.
- Ensures that programs are adequately documented.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- A degree in Public Health, Nursing or related discipline
- At least 3 years post NYSC experience in HIV testing and counseling, sexually transmitted disease prevention or treatment programs, including program planning, implementation and evaluation
- Professional training and extensive knowledge in HIV/AIDS counseling, testing, practices and procedures; particularly in care and support of People Living with HIV/AIDS (PLWHA)
- Ability to ensure that the highest standards of quality and client care are achieved.
- Experience of dealing with difficult and sensitive situations in a diplomatic and professional manner.

- Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Significant amount of travel may be involved for all positions.
