Job Title: Video Editor / 2D Animator

Job Description

• We're looking for a skilled Video Editor with strong 2D animation experience to join our creative team.
• You'll be responsible for producing polished, engaging video content from editing raw footage into compelling narratives to bringing motion graphics and animated elements to life.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into finished videos for social media, web, and marketing campaigns
• Create 2D animations, motion graphics, and animated explainer content
• Add sound design, music, color grading, and visual effects to enhance final output
• Collaborate with content, marketing, and design teams to align videos with brand and messaging goals
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Stay current with editing trends, animation styles, and platform-specific video formats (Reels, Shorts, YouTube, etc.)
• Organize and maintain a structured asset/project library.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with proven experience as a video editor with a strong portfolio / showreel
• Demonstrated 2D animation skills (character animation, kinetic typography, motion graphics)
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Illustrator a plus)
• Solid understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual rhythm
• Familiarity with sound design and basic color correction
• Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with 2D rigging tools (e.g., Duik, Character Animator)
• Basic graphic design or illustration skills
• Experience creating content for social-first platforms
• Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools/workflows.
