Job Title: Senior Site Architect

Location: Wuse 2, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

• The Senior Site Architect is responsible for overseeing the architectural execution of construction projects, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• The role requires close coordination with consultants, contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all architectural works on construction sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate architectural activities with structural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals before implementation.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to company standards.
• Resolve architectural and construction-related issues that arise during project execution.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor project progress and provide periodic reports on milestones, challenges, and recommendations.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities where necessary.
• Ensure architectural finishes meet the required quality and design expectations.
• Review and certify completed architectural works before project handover.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior architects and site personnel.
• Participate in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• Minimum of 6–10 years of relevant post-qualification experience in construction and site supervision.
• Registered with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) or other relevant professional body.
• Proven experience managing large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
