We are recruiting for the positions of:
1.) Program Associate, Biomedical Engineering x2
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
Incumbent will draw up maintenance plan for medical/laboratory equipment's across supported sites to ensure that they are functional
Perform periodic maintenance and repairs of medical/laboratory equipment
Supervise equipment installation by vendors and conduct trainings for supported user facility staff on usage and maintenance of such equipment .
Conduct trainings for laboratory Scientist/technician to perform regular maintenance for equipment and ensure continuity
Train and supervise state level engineers to perform central repairs.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Ability
BSc or HND in Biomedical engineering or Electrical/electronic engineering.
At least 2 years experience in the installation and maintenance of laboratory equipment's and analyzers.
Experience in maintaining equipment's like Vitros DT 60 II, V250, Sysmex and cyflow analyzers will be an advantage
Registration with the Nigerian Institute for Biomedical engineering.
2.) Facility Maintenance Associate
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
Incumbent will carry out assessments on existing structures and sites and make appropriate recommendations for upgrade and renovations.
Work with the procurement team to examine, analyze and review requisitions for renovations and reconstruction works in conformity to the specification and related data and to ensure that they will enable the procurement unit to achieve maximum efficiency in processing
Provide technical expert advice to contractors at various sites
Maintain appropriate documentations of renovations and generate progress/activity reports on the various assignments.
Liaise with stakeholders at sites in provision of upgrades that meets needs of the sites and other considerations such as warranty, maintenance, standardization or compatibility.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abillty
Bachelor's degree in Building, Civil engineering, Architecture orrelated discipline.
At least 2 years experience in related role within a reputable organisation. Be capable of challenging physical activities .
Be attentive to details; Be capable of working with minimal supervision
General Requirements
All positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite, computer applications and Internet/Emails
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Significant amount of travel may be involved for all positions.
Commitment to and understanding of organizations vision, values and principles including rights-based/gender approaches would be expected.
