Job Title: Security Guard

Job Description/Requirements

• We are seeking highly qualified, trained, literate security guards at its Ikeja and Lekki, Lagos, Nigeria offices.
• The candidate must have excellent spoken and written English skills, Security guard training, social media, internet, WhatsApp knowledge and Administration software abilities and be able to manage other staff.
• The candidate must be well presented, between 21 – 40 years old and 5ft/8inches in height or taller and in excellent physical shape.
• The candidate must be career-oriented and willing to represent the company in international exhibitions at least twice yearly.

Responsibilities

• Check the ground and general cleanliness of buildings especially offices and around general toilets. No shoes or rags should be left in the open area.
• Check lights, air conditioners and computers and ensure that those not being used are turned off.
• Open all windows and blinds if there’s no NEPA and turn off all air conditioners
• Attend weekly staff meetings from 8.00 am-8.30 am with the sales team and ensure a full understanding of the sales effort of each individual salesperson.
• Check and document all staff attendance
• Check and document all visitors and customers entry and exit into premises
• Check and document the safety and security of staff and building premises
• Check and document all items entering the compound and all items leaving the compound
• Security Guards will serve as the final checkpoint for the release of all sold goods.
• Check the gutter at the back of the building every Monday by 9.00 am to ensure that the cleaner has properly cleaned it and poured at least one gallon of kerosene into it.
• Screen all visitors to MD and ensure that MD is aware of any visitor before a visitor enters the compound.
• Supervise the security staff and ensure that they are clean and in complete uniform at all times while on duty.
• Check sales office as well as security post to ensure that NO unwanted persons are using the offices or post for the lounge.
• Unlock and lock all windows/doors and gates that you have been instructed including the front door, sales office door, main entrance and warehouse outer gate. 
• Ensure that all windows and blinds are properly opened when air conditioners are turned off during the day.
• Direct ALL sales enquiries to the sales team but in their absence get all relevant customers details and pass such details to the sales team.
• Individually walk each visitor/customer from the security guard station to the main building
• All other security guard related functions might be assigned by M.D or P.A to M.D

Requirements

• Must possess minimum of a secondary school graduation certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years proved General security guard service experience.
• Ability to read and write in English
• Proficiency with Social media and Microsoft office tools, software and equipment.
• The candidate must be well presented, between 21 – 38 years old, 5ft/10inches in height or taller and in excellent physical shape.

Salary

• NGN90,000 – NGN105,000/per Month
• Free catered lunches
• NGN100,000 Yearly housing allowance.
