Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accountant to support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal financial procedures.
• The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, be proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions accurately and maintain proper accounting records.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts while maintaining accurate documentation.
• Assist in payroll preparation and statutory deductions where required.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules for management review.
• Assist during internal and external audits by providing required financial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP systems).
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax regulations and statutory remittances is an added advantage.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
