Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage inventory, oversee stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping across our farm operations.
• The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and maintaining records of farm supplies, feed, medications, equipment, consumables, and other inventory items.
• The ideal candidate must possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a high level of integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and record all incoming farm supplies and materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory and stock records.
• Issue materials and supplies to authorized personnel based on approved requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of reorder requirements.
• Maintain stock cards, inventory registers, and store documentation.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Ensure proper storage and preservation of feed, medications, equipment, and farm consumables.
• Track and manage farm assets and equipment records.
• Report damaged, expired, missing, or obsolete stock items.
• Prepare weekly and monthly inventory reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with farm inventory control procedures and internal controls.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety within the store environment.

Requirements
Education:

• OND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, Logistics, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in storekeeping, inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
• Experience in a farm, manufacturing, or production environment is an added advantage.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong inventory and stock management skills.
• Excellent record-keeping and documentation abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other basic computer applications.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Integrity, accountability, and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
