Lheon Consulting Limited - Our client, a Wine & Spirits Company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Territory Trade Officer

Locations: Abuja, Lagos, Enugu, and Port Harcourt - Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Channel & Financial Management:

• Evaluate and monitor the profitability of outlets and distribution channels.
• Reconcile debts and lead the recovery of aged debts for credit customers.
• Conduct brand and category analysis across Mega and Non-Mega accounts, sharing reports with line managers.

Sales, Demand & Account Execution:

• Drive demand creation at the store level, rather than merely servicing existing demand.
• Maximize sales opportunities within Key Accounts to capture market share from competitors.
• Establish service standards for Mega Accounts, measure operational efficiency, and address gaps.

Merchandising & Inventory Control:

• Ensure optimal product availability, maintaining First-Expiry, First-Out (FEFO) inventory rotation and replacing overage stock when necessary.
• Ensure company planograms are maintained according to brand specifications.
• Maintain deep product knowledge across all SKUs, pricing, packaging, and merchandising policies.

Data Tracking & Reporting:

• Systematically execute daily route plans across assigned store locations to boost product off-take.
• Capture accurate data for Out-of-Stock and off-take reports for Head Office review.
• Track and report market intelligence, including competitor activities and new product launches.

Stakeholder & Operational Leadership:

• Build strong working relationships with store managers, floor supervisors, and merchandisers.
• Represent the company at trade promotions, exhibitions, and industry expos.
• Direct, control, and guide direct/indirect associates; assist in training new merchandisers.

Requirements

N400,000 Net per month.
