Zenith Recuriters - Our client is a fast-growing Nigerian FMCG company producing home and personal care products.We are looking for a hands-on Process Technician to join theirmanufacturing team and support the production of high-quality personal and home care products.

Job Title: Process Chemist Techician

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun

Role Summary

• The Process Technician will be responsible for the conversion of raw materials into bulk product through batch manufacturing, operating processing equipment, and ensuring strict compliance with GMP and quality standards throughout production.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and review batch manufacturing records (BMR) before processing
• Verify availability and status of raw materials before batch commencement
• Accurately weigh raw materials according to formulation and BMR instructions
• Operate mixing, heating, homogenizing, and processing equipment safely and efficiently
• Monitor critical process parameters such as temperature, mixing speed, pH, and viscosity
• Ensure proper, real-time documentation of all processing activities
• Ensure strict adherence to GMP, hygiene, and safety procedures during production
• Prevent cross-contamination by following line clearance and sanitation procedures
• Coordinate with the Quality Control team for bulk product sampling
• Identify and report deviations, abnormalities, or equipment malfunctions immediately
• Ensure proper transfer of semi-finished bulk product to the filling section
• Participate in process improvement and waste reduction initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
• 5–8years' hands-on experience in batch manufacturing/production within the soap, cosmetics, personal care, or home care (FMCG) industry
• Demonstrated experience converting raw materials into bulk product (mixing, compounding, or formulation-based processing)
• Working knowledge of GMP, in-process quality parameters (pH, viscosity, temperature), and batch documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within production timelines
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred:

• Prior experience specifically inliqiuid soapmanufacturing (not powder or tablet-only processes).

Salary
N300,000 - N500,000 Monthly.
