We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Lagos 

Description

• We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing accurate statements, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
• Your role will encompass budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and providing consultancy to senior managers for cost and revenue analyses.
• By meticulously managing our financial records and supporting investment decisions, you will play a vital role in our company’s success.

Responsibilities

• Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements)
• Forecast costs and revenues
• Manage tax payments
• Organize internal audits
• Prepare budgets (for the entire company and by department)
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
• Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments
• Analyze financial trends
• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.

Requirements and skills

• BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant fields
• Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar roles
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software
• In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures
• Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
• Time-management abilities
• Confidentiality.

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 monthly.
