Job Title: Controller Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Head Office Control/Compliance
Operationally works with: Program Managers, Sales, Traffic, and Finance

Job Summary

• To safeguard company revenue by enforcing end-to-end control over booking, billing, receipting, and reconciliation processes, ensuring that all jobs are properly recorded, receipted, and accounted for.
• The role is designed as a profit protection function, focused on eliminating revenue leakage and strengthening financial accountability at the station level.

Responsibilities

• Revenue & Job Control:
• Reconcile daily job bookings vs payments received
• Ensure no job is aired without proper booking and approval
• Track unique job references for all transactions
• Identify and report untracked or irregular airtime usage

Receipting & Payment Verification:

• Enforce “No Receipt, No Airing” policy
• Ensure all payments are properly receipted and documented
• Escalate delayed, missing, or suspicious payments

Reconciliation & Reporting:

• Daily reconciliation of jobs and payments
• Prepare daily and weekly control reports
• Highlight leakages, unreconciled items, and compliance gaps

Documentation & Audit Trail:

• Ensure complete documentation for all transactions
• Maintain digital and physical records
• Conduct periodic audits

Fraud Detection & Compliance:

• Flag suspicious activities (e.g., jobs without records, payments without receipts)
• Support investigations and escalate issues
• Enforce compliance across departments

Process Improvement:

• Ensure strict compliance with company-laid-down processes (e.g., job processing channel, company’s payment policy and discount policy)
• Recommend process improvements

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Reduction in revenue leakage
• % of jobs receipted before airing
• Reduction in unreconciled transactions
• Number of exceptions identified and resolved
• Improvement in revenue capture accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, or Internal Control

Benefits
Salary: N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
