• Are you an expert in your trade with a passion for teaching?
• We are a leading educational publishing company committed to producing high-quality learning materials that support excellence in education across Nigeria.
• As part of our commitment to developing curriculum-compliant instructional resources, we are inviting experienced professionals and subject matter experts to join our pool of authors for the development of trade subject textbooks in line with the NERDC curriculum.

We are currently seeking qualified authors in the following subject areas:
Solar Photovoltaic Installation and Maintenance:

• We are looking for professionals with practical and theoretical expertise in solar energy systems, photovoltaic installation, system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, safety procedures, renewable energy technologies, and related fields.

Beauty and Cosmetology:

• Applicants should possess sound knowledge of beauty therapy, cosmetology, skincare, hair care, makeup artistry, nail technology, salon management, hygiene and safety standards, and current industry practices.

Computer Hardware and GSM Repairs:

• We seek experts with extensive experience in computer hardware installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, GSM/mobile phone repairs, diagnostics, software installation, networking basics, and emerging technologies in device maintenance.

Horticulture and Crop Rotation:

• Applicants should demonstrate strong expertise in crop production, horticultural practices, nursery establishment and management, greenhouse technology, soil management, pest and disease control, agricultural best practices, and sustainable farming techniques.

Key Responsibilities
Successful authors will be expected to:

• Develop original, accurate, and engaging textbook manuscripts in their area of expertise.
• Produce content that aligns fully with the NERDC curriculum requirements.
• Integrate practical activities, illustrations, projects, assessment questions, and real-life applications into learning materials.
• Work collaboratively with editors, curriculum specialists, and reviewers throughout the publication process.
• Revise manuscripts based on editorial and academic feedback within agreed timelines.

Who Should Apply?
Successful candidates should possess:

• A strong academic and/or professional background in the relevant trade area.
• Demonstrable practical industry experience.
• Excellent writing, research, and communication skills.
• The ability to simplify technical concepts into engaging, learner-friendly content.
• A good understanding of the NERDC curriculum and competency-based education (added advantage).
• Previous experience in curriculum development, textbook writing, instructional material development, or educational publishing will be an added advantage.
