Job Summary

• Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer to ensure that products consistently meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for quality assurance and be willing to learn, as structured on-the-job training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine quality inspections on raw water, production processes, and finished products.
• Perform basic laboratory and quality control tests in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate quality control records, inspection reports, and test results.
• Identify product defects or quality issues and report them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), company quality procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the production team to maintain consistent product quality.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality audits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science & Technology, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with relevant industrial training or internship experience in manufacturing are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of quality control principles and laboratory practices.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow standard operating procedures.
• Willingness to learn and adapt through structured training.
• Training will be provided to successful candidates to enhance their technical knowledge of bottled water quality control processes.

Remuneration

• Salary: N90,000 – N100,000 per month
