Job Title: Junior Finance Analyst / Accountant

About the Role

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Finance Analyst/Accountant to support our finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional looking to grow within a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory remittances.
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance.
• ACA/ACCA (in view or part-qualified) is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
