Job Summary

• We are seeking a trustworthy and detail-oriented Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support budgeting, payroll, reconciliation, financial reporting and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate accounting records.
• Record income, expenses, payments and other financial transactions.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers and supporting documents.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Conduct bank, cash and account reconciliations.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on payments.
• Support payroll preparation and maintain payroll records.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Assist management with budgeting, forecasting and expenditure control.
• Monitor company expenses and ensure proper authorization.
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documents.
• Assist with tax, pension and other statutory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
• Identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective action.
• Maintain the confidentiality of the company’s financial information.

Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Two to four years’ relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping and financial-reporting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience using accounting software.
• Strong numerical, analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Good attention to detail and record-management ability.
• Understanding of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
• Professional accounting certification or progress toward certification is an advantage.

Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
