Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Lagos

Description

• The Senior Civil Engineer leads the design, planning, and oversight of complex civil engineering projects. This role involves managing teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion, including design, permitting, and construction phases.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates using CAD and other software.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental impact assessments.
• Oversee construction activities, perform inspections, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.
• Review and approve technical reports, plans, and contract documents.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is an added advantage.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and best practices.

Salary
N700,000 monthly.
