Description

• Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, and other production supplies.
• Identify and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices and terms.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries to ensure timely supply.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
• Work closely with the production and inventory teams to prevent stock shortages.
• Evaluate supplier performance and build strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Purchasing & Supply, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years' experiencein procurement, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and inventory control.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
