Job Title: Audit Officer

Location: Onipanu, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Audit Officer to join our finance/audit team in Onipanu, Lagos. You’ll support audit engagements by testing controls, verifying records, and helping ensure clients meet regulatory and financial reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting internal and external audits for clients
• Prepare working papers, audit reports, and supporting schedules
• Perform substantive testing, vouching, and analytical procedures on financial records
• Check adherence to IFRS, CAMA, FRC, and other relevant regulations
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend improvements
• Liaise with client finance teams to gather evidence and clarify findings
• Draft audit findings and assist senior auditors with final report preparation

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ACA/ACCA in progress is an advantage
• 2 years audit, accounting, or assurance experience. Fresh graduates with strong academics may apply
• Strong knowledge of audit procedures and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Excel. Experience with QuickBooks, Sage, or other ERP is a plus
• Analytical thinking and strong attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Must be resident in or willing to relocate to Onipanu/Lagos mainland area.

Salary
N180,000 / Month.
