Arrupe Jesuit College is a non-profit co-educational boarding Catholic and Jesuit secondary school that welcomes young men and women of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Virtual Arts Teacher

Location: Abbi, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Teacher of Virtual Arts will plan, prepare, and deliver instruction to students in accordance with the Nigerian National Policy onEducationand regulations of AJC.
• The teacher will cover effectively and efficiently every item in the scheme of work in use in the school while also teaching the students all they need to know in everyday life in relation to Virtual Arts.
• Over and above all, every teacher in AJC is a role model to the students.

Requirements
Qualifications:

• B.Ed in Fine and Applied Arts or its equivalent is required.
• Any higher degree or qualification, especially in the field of Fine Arts or Painting, is an advantage.
• TRCN is required.

Experience:

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role.

Personal Qualities:

• Effective communication and presentation skills, good command of the English Language, good understanding of adolescent psychology, good interpersonal skills, a team player, ability to work effectively with minimum supervision, proficiency in the use of Office Suites like Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
