Women Environmental Programme (WEP) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political, non-religious and voluntary organization formed in April 1997 by a group of women in Kaduna State. WEP envisions a world where the lives of women and youth are positively transformed.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

About the Job

• We inviting applications from qualified and passionate ICT trainers to facilitate a 3-month Digital Skills Development Programme under the WomenPower2030: Feminist Accelerate Action for Sustainable Development project.
• This initiative aims to empower young girls, women, and persons with disabilities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja, by building practical digital competencies that support employment, entrepreneurship, and advocacy in today’s digital economy.

Trainer Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, inclusive, and beginner-friendly ICT training sessions
• Develop and share simple lesson plans, activities, and evaluation tools
• Support learners through mentorship and practical exercises
• Monitor and report on participant progress and training outcomes
• Collaborate with the WEP team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Degree, Diploma, or recognized certification in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field
• Demonstrated experience facilitating digital skills training or coaching learners in any of the focus areas
• Proficiency in the tools and technologies relevant to the selected course(s)
• Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with women, youth, or persons with disabilities is an added advantage
• Ability to create an inclusive and empowering learning environment
• Must be based in Abuja and committed to being physically available for the duration of the programme.
