Job Title: Spare Parts Officer

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Spare Parts Officer to manage the inventory, storage, distribution, and replenishment of spare parts required for service operations.
The ideal candidate will ensure the availability of genuine spare parts, maintain accurate inventory records, support service teams with timely parts issuance, and optimize stock levels to minimize downtime while maintaining cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and record all incoming spare parts, ensuring accuracy and quality.
Maintain optimal stock levels through effective inventory planning and replenishment.
Issue spare parts promptly to technicians and service centers based on approved requests.
Monitor stock movement and maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP or inventory management system.
Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and periodic inventory audits.
Reconcile physical inventory with system records and investigate discrepancies.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to replenish low-stock or critical spare parts.
Ensure proper storage, labeling, and preservation of spare parts to prevent damage or loss.
Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and expired inventory and recommend appropriate actions.
Prepare inventory, stock movement, and consumption reports for management.
Ensure compliance with company inventory policies and internal control procedures.
Support warranty claims by maintaining accurate records of parts issued for warranty repairs.
Coordinate inter-branch or inter-service center transfer of spare parts when required.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized spare parts warehouse or store.
Assist in forecasting spare parts demand based on service trends and historical usage.
Collaborate with the Service, Procurement, and Finance teams to improve inventory efficiency and customer service.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 3years of experience in spare parts inventory management, warehouse operations, or storekeeping, preferably within the consumer electronics, automotive, or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and warehouse management practices.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of inventory valuation and stock reconciliation is an added advantage.
