Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer

Role Purpose

• Elevare Human Solutions Ltd is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with strong UI/UX capabilities to support the design and development of a proprietary enterprise software platform.
• The successful candidate will contribute to the development of a scalable, secure and intuitive ERP solution incorporating workforce management, business process automation, data analytics and enterprise management capabilities.
• The role requires practical competence across frontend development, backend engineering, UI/UX design, database architecture, API development, cloud deployment, application security and system integration.
• The successful candidate must be capable of translating complex business requirements into functional, commercially viable software solutions while maintaining high standards of security, scalability, performance and user experience.
• Due to the proprietary nature of the project, detailed product architecture, workflows and technical specifications will be disclosed to successful candidates at the appropriate stage of the engagement and subject to applicable confidentiality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Full Stack Engineering:

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain frontend and backend components of enterprise software applications.
• Build scalable, secure and maintainable application architecture.
• Develop reusable software components and maintain clean, efficient and properly documented code.
• Translate approved business and functional requirements into working software features.
• Contribute to technical architecture decisions and continuous product improvement.

ERP and Enterprise Application Development:

• Develop integrated enterprise modules supporting workforce operations, organisational administration, workflow management, reporting, approvals, employee records, performance processes and other business functions.
• Ensure modules operate as part of a coherent enterprise application rather than disconnected standalone features.
• Design solutions that can accommodate evolving organisational requirements and configurable business processes.

UI/UX Design and Implementation:

• Design clean, intuitive and professional user interfaces for responsive web environments.
• Translate requirements and user journeys into wireframes, prototypes and functional interfaces.
• Use Figma or equivalent UI/UX tools to develop product screens and interaction flows.
• Create dashboards and interfaces that simplify complex business data.
• Maintain consistent design standards across application modules.
• Convert approved UI/UX designs into functional frontend interfaces.

Frontend Development:

• Develop responsive and high performance web interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Demonstrate practical competence with technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML, CSS and Tailwind CSS or comparable frameworks.
• Build reusable components and optimise applications for usability, accessibility, responsiveness and performance.

Backend Development:

• Design and develop secure backend services supporting application business logic.
• Work with technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, Express.js, Python, Django, FastAPI, PHP Laravel or comparable modern backend frameworks.
• Develop scalable APIs connecting frontend applications, databases and authorised external services.
• Implement appropriate validation, authentication, authorisation and error handling.

Database Design and Management:

• Design and maintain reliable database structures capable of supporting complex organisational and transactional data.
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis or comparable database technologies.
• Develop appropriate data relationships, maintain data integrity and optimise database performance.

SaaS and Multi-Tenant Architecture:

• Contribute to the development of scalable SaaS applications capable of serving multiple organisations.
• Implement appropriate tenant data separation, access controls and configurable organisation settings.
• Support configurable structures, workflows, permissions and business rules without requiring separate applications for individual organisations.

API Development and System Integration:

• Develop and maintain REST APIs or GraphQL services where appropriate.
• Support integration with authorised third party services including communication services, authentication systems, cloud storage, business applications, payment services and other enterprise systems.
• Maintain accurate API and integration documentation.

AI and Automation Capability:

• Support the integration of approved AI services and automation capabilities into enterprise applications where required.
• Understand how to integrate external AI models and APIs safely into production software.
• Develop automated workflows and intelligent application features based on approved product requirements without compromising security or data governance.

Cloud Deployment and DevOps:

• Support application deployment and management within cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Vercel, DigitalOcean or comparable infrastructure.
• Maintain development, staging and production environments.
• Use Git and structured version control practices.
• Support CI/CD processes, release management, application monitoring and production issue resolution.
• Experience with Docker or containerised applications will be an advantage.

Application Security:

• Apply secure software development practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Implement secure authentication, role based access control, permission management, encryption, API security, input validation, session management, audit logging, backup and recovery controls.
• Maintain appropriate confidentiality and security standards when handling organisational and employer information.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Conduct appropriate testing before production releases.
• Develop unit and integration tests where required.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Conduct regression testing following significant application changes.
• Support User Acceptance Testing and maintain application reliability.

Technical Documentation:

• Maintain clear technical documentation covering application architecture, database structures, APIs, source code, modules, integrations, deployment procedures, environment configuration, security controls, technical dependencies and change history.
• Ensure sufficient documentation exists to preserve organisational ownership and continuity of the software platform.

Requirements
Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• UI / UX Experience
• Minimum of 2 years practical professional software development experience.
• Demonstrable experience building and deploying functional web applications.
• Strong frontend and backend development capability.
• Practical UI/UX design experience.
• Experience with database design and API development.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience deploying applications into production environments.

Required Technical Competencies:

• JavaScript and TypeScript.
• React and Next.js or comparable frontend technologies.
• Node.js, Python or comparable backend technologies.
• PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or comparable database technologies.

Additional Advantage:

• Previous experience developing ERP systems, HR technology, SaaS platforms, CRM applications, payroll applications, workflow automation systems, business intelligence dashboards, accounting applications or other enterprise software.
• Experience taking a software product from concept or prototype through production deployment will be a strong advantage.

• All software, source code, designs, documentation and other work products created within the scope of employment shall be governed by the applicable employment, confidentiality and intellectual property agreements.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 per month.
