Job Title: Senior Design Architect

About the Role

• We are looking for a highly creative and experiencedSenior Design Architectto lead the design direction of premium architectural and interior projects.
• This role is ideal for an architect with a strong passion for luxury design, creative leadership and exceptional visual storytelling.
• You will be responsible for shaping project concepts, developing functional and visually striking spaces, guiding the design team and ensuring that every project reflects the highest standards of quality and innovation.
• You will work closely with the Principal Architect, clients, consultants and project teams to transform ideas into distinctive and memorable spaces.

What You Will Do
Design Leadership and Creative Direction:

• Lead the creative development of luxury residential estates, corporate commercial spaces and premium retail fit-outs.
• Translate client briefs into compelling architectural concepts, schematic designs, 3D visualisations and material mood boards.
• Develop unique design solutions that combine beauty, functionality, comfort and commercial value.
• Guide design concepts from the early stages through detailed architectural and interior documentation.
• Ensure that material selections, finishes, details and design elements reflect premium luxury standards.
• Conduct site visits at key project stages to confirm that construction aligns with the approved design vision.

Studio Management and Team Development:

• Manage the daily activities of the design studio, including workload planning, project schedules and resource allocation.
• Assign tasks effectively to architects, junior designers and 3D visualisers.
• Review drawings, renders, presentations and design documents before submission to the Principal Architect or client.
• Maintain strong quality-control standards across all studio outputs.
• Mentor and support junior team members to improve their creativity, technical skills and software proficiency.
• Encourage a studio culture built around innovation, collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.
• Work closely with the Principal Architect on design strategy, studio capacity and overall project performance.

Client Presentations and Consultant Coordination:

• Lead client meetings and confidently present design concepts, materials and project recommendations.
• Build strong professional relationships with clients and clearly communicate the design vision.
• Coordinate with Structural Engineers, MEP Consultants and other specialist consultants.
• Ensure engineering and technical requirements are properly integrated without weakening the architectural concept.
• Review designs for compliance with building codes, planning requirements and other statutory regulations.
• Resolve design and coordination challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

What We Are Looking For

• Master’s degree in Architecture.
• ARCON registration is highly preferred.
• Eight to twelve years of relevant architectural and design experience.
• A strong portfolio featuring luxury residential, premium retail, commercial interiors or high-end buildings.
• Proven experience leading projects from concept development through design delivery.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
• Strong command of SketchUp and premium rendering tools such as V-Ray, Lumion, 3ds Max or Twinmotion.
• Excellent understanding of spatial planning, interior architecture, materials, construction detailing and luxury finishes.
• Strong leadership, communication, mentoring and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
• A refined eye for proportion, aesthetics, functionality and detail.

Portfolio Requirement

• Applicants must submit a detailed design portfolio together with their CV.

The portfolio should clearly demonstrate:

• Luxury residential, commercial, retail or interior projects.
• Strong conceptual and creative design ability.
• Space planning and functional design solutions.
• High-quality 3D renders and visual presentations.
• Material selections, mood boards and design development.
• Technical drawings and construction detailing.
• Evidence of involvement from initial concept to final project delivery.

Salary
N600,000 - N700,000 per month.
