Job Title: Management Consultant

Location: Lekki, Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• The successful candidate will lead consulting engagements from diagnosis through implementation, delivering practical solutions in strategy, business transformation, organisational development, corporate governance, business process improvement, human capital, and performance management.
• The role also provides leadership for project delivery, supervises junior consultants, and supports executive management in driving operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead consulting engagements and develop strategic recommendations, business cases, governance frameworks, and implementation roadmaps.
• Conduct business diagnostics, organisational assessments, market research, and financial analysis.
• Manage multiple projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards.
• Supervise the Junior Consultant – Administrative Operations and Junior Consultant – Project Management & Delivery Coordination, ensuring effective coordination between both functions.
• Prepare executive reports, proposals, presentations, and Board papers while supporting management meetings and strategic planning.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Performance will be measured by successful project delivery, client satisfaction, revenue contribution, quality of consulting deliverables, project implementation outcomes, proposal development, leadership of junior consultants, timely executive reporting, continuous process improvement, and contribution to Nextzon's thought leadership and market reputation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division (2:1) in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree and/or MBA is an added advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years' practical experience in Management Consulting.
• Proven experience leading consulting assignments from strategy through implementation.
• Strong expertise in business transformation, strategy, organisational design, governance, operational excellence, or human capital consulting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, report writing, and leadership skills.
