Job Summary

• The IT Coordinator provides technical support and ensures the smooth operation of all technology systems within the Glocient Hospitality.
• This role supports hotel operations by maintaining networks, property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, guest internet services, CCTV, and communication tools.
• The IT Coordinator ensures minimal downtime, provides prompt support to staff, and upholds data security and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level and second-level technical support to hotel staff across all departments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and system issues.
• Maintain and troubleshoot essential hospitality systems including PMS, POS, telephone systems, door lock systems, and guest Wi-Fi.
• Conduct routine maintenance on servers, computers, printers, routers, switches, and other equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning of CCTV systems, access control, inventory devices, and audio/visual equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of IT hardware and software assets.
• Assist in procurement, installation, upgrades, and disposal of equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Experience with PMS, POS, CRS, and hospitality-related systems is an advantage.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection standards.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Problem-solving mindset with a sense of urgency.
