Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Restuarant Supervisor to oversee our back-of-house operations.
• The successful candidate will supervise vendors and cleaning staff, maintain order within the facility, ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, and support the smooth day-to-day running of the cafeteria.

Job Summary

• The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a shared cafeteria environment. The role focuses on coordinating vendors, supervising cleaning staff, maintaining operational order, enforcing hygiene and food safety standards, and ensuring efficient service delivery.
• This is an operations-focused supervisory role that emphasizes coordination, compliance, and facility management rather than direct food preparation or customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Resume duty at 6:00 amto oversee opening activities.
• Conduct daily pre-opening inspections of kitchen and service areas.
• Supervise vendor setup and ensure compliance with assigned operating zones.
• Coordinate vendor activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Enforce proper storage practices and prevent cross-use of storage areasbetween vendors
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards across all areas
• Ensure washing stations are used efficiently and remain free from congestion.
• Keep walkways and service areas clean, dry, and free obstructions.
• Identify and address expired, damaged,or improperly stored food items.
• Supervise cleaning staff and ensure adherence to cleaning schedules.
• Conduct routine inspectionsduring operating hours to maintain order and compliance.
• Resolve minor operational issues and vendor disputes professionally.
• Conduct end-of-day inspections before closings.
• Maintain accurate daily operationaland compliance records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
• 2–3 years' experience in hospitality, restaurant operations, cafeteria management, or facility supervision.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Excellent supervisory and team coordination skills.
• Ability to enforce operational procedures with professionalism and fairness.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to resume work at 6:00 a.m.

Salary
N250,000 monthly.
