Lington & Bernie Consulting Limited was established on October 8, 1999 to provide efficient and qualitative consulting services to the oil and gas industry as well as banks and financial institutions in the areas of human resources placement and management, human resources consulting services, tax administration and payroll services as well as oil and gas fiscal and contractual terms advisory services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Consumer Lending Officer 

Location:  Nationwide

Responsibilities & Duties

• Evaluate and process loan applications
• Analyze borrowers' financial status, credit, and property evaluations
• Authorize or recommend approval of loan applications
• Ensure compliance with lending regulations and policies
• Meet with loan applicants to identify their needs and explain loan options
• Conduct thorough credit checks and risk assessments
• Prepare detailed loan proposals and documentation
• Monitor loan accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date
• Collaborate with other financial professionals to manage client relationships
• Handle inquiries and provide support throughout the loan process
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling financial products
• Stay updated on financial regulations, products, and market trends.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an HND/BSC, with 5 years of work experience.
• Age: 35 Max.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and lending practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in financial software and loan processing systems
• Close attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Proven experience as a loan officer or similar role
• Understanding of direct and indirect loan products and services
• Familiarity with loan origination software
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Benefits
Salary: N150,000 per month.
