We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Physics Teacher

Location: Ikeja Environs, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the school with clear vision and purpose, guiding both staff and students toward the realization of its mission and objectives.
• Design and execute academic programs that align with both national benchmarks and internal curriculum goals.
• Supervise the smooth running of daily school operations, including teaching, learning, administrative processes, and co-curricular activities.
• Provide mentorship and leadership to a team of educators and support personnel, fostering continuous improvement.
• Conduct staff evaluations, facilitate appraisals, and promote professional development initiatives.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with parents, community members, and regulatory bodies to enhance educational outcomes.
• Develop and oversee the school’s budget, ensuring prudent use of financial and material resources.
• Enforce safety protocols and disciplinary measures that promote a respectful and secure learning environment.
• Encourage and support extracurricular activities that contribute to students’ overall development and well-being.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a closely related discipline (a Master’s degree is an added advantage)
• Substantial teaching and leadership experience within a secondary school setting, reflecting proven administrative competence.
• Strong familiarity with the Nigerian education sector and the WAEC/NECO curriculum frameworks.
• Exceptional skills in organization, critical thinking, and effective decision-making.
• Competence in leveraging modern technology and school management tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
• TRCN certification or equivalent teaching qualification is a plus.
• A strong personal commitment to academic integrity, moral development, and educational excellence.

Salary
N200,000 - N250,000 monthly.
