Job Title: Senior Consultant (Performance & Goals Management - PMGM)

Location: Lagos

Job Summary

• We're looking for a highly experienced and certified Senior Consultant specializing in SAP Success Factors Performance & Goals Management (PMGM) to join Dangote SAP Delivery Center in India.
• This pivotal role will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of the SuccessFactors Performance and Goals modules.
• The ideal candidate will bring deep functional and technical expertise in PMGM, guiding clients through complex talent management transformations, ensuring effective performance processes, robust goal alignment, and seamless integration with broader HR strategies.

Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Needs Analysis:

• Lead discovery workshops and discussions with HR, Learning & Development (L&D), and business stakeholders to thoroughly understand current performance management and goal-setting processes, pain points, and future state requirements.
• Conduct detailed business process analysis, identify gaps, and propose optimal solutions leveraging industry best practices and SuccessFactors PMGM capabilities.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications for PMGM configuration and process design.

 SuccessFactors PMGM Solution Design & Configuration:
Design, configure, and implement comprehensive SAP SuccessFactors PMGM solutions, including:

• Goals Management: Goal plan templates, goal cascades, goal alignment, personal and team goals, goal weights, and goal sharing.
• Performance Management: Performance review forms (calibration, routing, sections, competencies, ratings), performance templates, 360-degree feedback, continuous performance management, and calibration processes.
• Competency Management: Integration of competencies into performance forms and development plans.
• Forms & Workflows: Design of complex routing maps, approval workflows, and notification settings for performance forms.
• Rating Scales: Customization of rating scales and labels.
• Security & Permissions: Configure role-based permissions (RBP) to ensure data security and compliance within PMGM.

Develop detailed PMGM configuration workbooks and design document:
Integration & Data Management: 

• Define and design integration points between PMGM and other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Compensation, Learning, Succession & Development) using standard connectors or custom integrations.
• Lead discussions and define integration requirements with external systems (e.g., HRIS, payroll) using Integration Center or SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Support data migration strategies, including data cleansing and loading activities for performance and goal data

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Develop comprehensive test plans, scenarios, and scripts for PMGM functionalities 
• Lead and execute unit testing, integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Manage defect identification, tracking, and resolution to ensure solution quality and accuracy 

Training & Change Management:
Provide expert-level post-go-live support and troubleshooting for PMGM solutions:

• Develop detailed training materials and deliver effective training sessions for HR administrators, managers, and end-users on PMGM processes and functionalities.
• Support change management activities to ensure successful adoption of new PMGM processes and technologies.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of consulting methodologies, accelerators, and internal knowledge bases:
Project Leadership & Mentorship:

• Act as a lead consultant on SuccessFactors PMGM implementation projects, managing workstreams, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, technical leads, and client teams.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior SuccessFactors consultants, fostering their growth and sharing knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Desired Skills (Plus Points):

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on consulting experience in HR technology implementations, with a primary focus on Performance Management and Goals Management systems.
• Proven experience with at least 3-4 full lifecycle implementations of SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals Management (PMGM).
• Active SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals Management Certification (latest version highly preferred).
• Deep functional expertise in all aspects of SuccessFactors PMGM, including goal plan templates, performance review forms, routing maps, competencies, calibration, and continuous performance management.
• Strong understanding of performance management methodologies, goal-setting frameworks (e.g., SMART goals, OKRs), and best practices.
• Hands-on configuration experience with PMGM modules, including managing roles, permissions, and security settings.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills specific to PMGM functionalities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong client-facing, presentation, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) for SuccessFactors integrations.
• Familiarity with other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Compensation, Learning, Succession & Development) and their integration points with PMGM.
• Experience with reporting tools specific to SuccessFactors (Ad Hoc, Canvas, Report Stories/People Analytics).
• Experience in a consulting firm environment.
• Understanding of HR transformation methodologies and change management.
• Knowledge of global performance management trends and compliance requirements.
