Job Title: Head of Real Estate

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

• We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Development Manager to lead the successful delivery of high-profile real estate and construction projects from concept through completion.
• This is a leadership role for a seasoned project delivery professional who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• The ideal candidate has extensive experience in development management, construction project delivery, commercial management, and client engagement, with a proven ability to drive projects from inception to successful handover.

What You’ll Do
Project Development & Delivery:

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of multiple real estate development and construction projects from feasibility through completion.
• Develop and manage project execution plans, delivery strategies, timelines, and project programmes.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and specialist consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead project meetings and provide clear progress reports to clients and senior management.
• Oversee procurement activities, including consultant appointments, contractor selection, and tender processes.
• Manage contract administration and commercial matters in collaboration with project consultants.
• Coordinate statutory approvals, regulatory submissions, permits, and stakeholder engagement through project completion.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.
• Present project updates, performance reports, and recommendations to executive stakeholders and project sponsors.
• Manage client expectations and resolve project issues before they impact delivery.
• Collaborate effectively with government agencies, consultants, contractors, and other key stakeholders.

Commercial & Business Development:

• Support the preparation of proposals, tenders, project bids, and fee submissions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the real estate and construction sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, consultants, contractors, and industry partners.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that support business growth and market expansion.

Leadership & Team Management:

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across multiple developments.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and project team members.
• Foster accountability, collaboration, and high-performance project execution.
• Promote best practices in project governance, reporting, and delivery standards.

You will play a key role in:

• Successfully delivering major real estate and construction projects from inception to completion.
• Building strong client relationships through exceptional project execution.
• Driving project quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve outstanding project outcomes.
• Supporting the company’s growth through business development and strategic client engagement.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• 10–15 years of experience delivering complex real estate or construction projects.
• Proven experience managing projects from concept, planning, and design through construction and final handover.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, contract administration, commercial management, and project controls.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, contractors, and international stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, quality assurance, and risk management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management, MBA, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, CIOB, COREN, NSE, or equivalent.
• Experience delivering commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, infrastructure, or large-scale development projects.
• Previous experience working with international developers, investors, or development finance institutions.
