Job Title: Excavator Operator

Location: Ogere-Remo, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Excavator Driver to operate excavators safely and efficiently for construction, earthmoving, excavation, and site development projects.
• The ideal candidate must have extensive experience handling different types of excavators while maintaining high safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate excavators for excavation, grading, trenching, demolition, and earthmoving activities.
• Perform daily pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical faults.
• Ensure safe operation of equipment in compliance with company safety policies.
• Excavate according to project drawings and site instructions.
• Load and move materials while minimizing damage to surrounding structures.
• Carry out basic maintenance such as checking engine oil, hydraulic fluid, coolant, and fuel levels.
• Keep the excavator clean and in good working condition.
• Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and other equipment operators.
• Observe all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Complete daily equipment operation and maintenance reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an SSCE or equivalent.
• Valid operator's certification or relevant equipment operation training is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience operating excavators.
• Good understanding of excavation techniques and construction site operations.

• Excellent machine operating skills.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance.
• Strong awareness of safety procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Physical fitness and attention to detail.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 monthly.
