Job Title: HR / Operations Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

• This role sits at the intersection of people management and business operations — ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail/fashion environment and can balance HR responsibilities with day-to-day operational execution.

Key Responsibilities|
HR Functions:

• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for store and back-office staff
• Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Handle payroll coordination, attendance, and leave management
• Support performance management and staff development initiatives
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
• Address employee relations issues and foster a positive work culture.

Operations Functions:

• Oversee daily store/warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Manage inventory tracking, stock reconciliation, and supply coordination
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
• Support process improvement across production, sales, and distribution
• Monitor operational costs and support budget adherence
• Assist in implementing SOPs to improve efficiency across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields
• 2 - 4 years experience in HR and/or operations, preferably in retail, fashion, or FMCG
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Knowledge of Nigerian labor law is an advantage
• SHRM/CIPM certification is a plus but not required.
