Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Abacha Road, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• BioRapid Laboratory is seeking a smart, courteous, and highly organized Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, provide excellent customer service, and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the front desk.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to patients and visitors professionally.
• Manage appointments and maintain patient records.
• Receive and direct phone calls, emails, and other enquiries.
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain electronic records.
• Handle administrative and clerical duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information.
• Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable.
• Provide support to other departments when required.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification of SSCE, OND, HND, or B.Sc Degree
• Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role.
• Must be presentable, professional, and customer-oriented.
• Good computer skills, particularly in data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English with fluent communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
• A background or previous experience in the medical or healthcare sector is an added advantage.
• Applicants must reside within the Abacha Road axis.
• Applicants must be between 20 and 26 years of age.
