Job Summary

• The Merchandising Officer is responsible for representing the company's brands in the field by executing merchandising activities, retail activations, product sampling, and consumer engagement campaigns across assigned territories.
• The role focuses on increasing brand visibility, ensuring proper product placement and pricing, building strong relationships with retailers and distributors, gathering market intelligence, and delivering accurate field reports.
• The successful candidate will actively support the company's sales and marketing objectives while maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance, and customer engagement during all field operations.

Job Description

• Position & Location: 3 vacancies for Merchandising Officers based in Asaba, Delta State, covering Southern Nigeria for the Century 21 and Famiglia brands.
• Job Purpose: Serve as a frontline brand ambassador executing field merchandising, consumer engagement, product sampling, and retail activation.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute market, street, school, and retail activation campaigns.
• Merchandise products according to company standards and set up branded promotional/sampling stations.
• Conduct consumer education and product sampling exercises.
• Build positive relationships with retailers/distributors, ensure shelf visibility, and enforce approved product pricing.
• Distribute promotional materials and gather market intelligence.
• Submit accurate daily digital field reports via smartphone.
• Maintain company uniforms, merchandising equipment, and promotional assets.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of OND, NCE, or equivalent qualification.
• Spoken/written English and mandatory fluency in Nigerian Pidgin English.
• Basic smartphone proficiency and valid identification.
• Residence in Asaba/environs and willingness to travel extensively across Southern Nigeria.

Benefits & Remuneration

• Total Monthly Earnings Potential: Up to ₦200,000 per month, broken down as:
  • Weekly Field Support: ₦2,000 per working day (~₦40,000/month) paid weekly for meals and incidental field expenses.
  • Performance Earnings: Up to ₦160,000/month based on attendance, KPI targets, compliance, and program completion.
