Senior Accountant at ICE-TECX

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the organization's entire financial operations, accounting strategy, and fiscal performance and assume the role of Chief Finance Officer.
• Prepare, review, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management accounts, and audit reports to executive management.
• Lead corporate budgeting, financial forecasting, cash flow management, and strategic cost-control measures.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory financial reporting, statutory tax obligations (VAT, CIT, PAYE, WHT), and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise, mentor, and evaluate the finance and accounting team, maintaining high accounting standards and operational discipline.
• Coordinate external audit processes and maintain effective relationships with banking partners, tax authorities, and financial regulators.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to support business expansion, investment opportunities, and risk management.

General Qualifications

• B.Sc / HND qualficatiion in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional certification from ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) or ACCA is mandatory.
• 7 – 10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior executive or financial leadership capacity (CFO / Financial Controller level).
• High proficiency in accounting softwareand advanced MS Excel.
• Deep knowledge of IFRS standards, Nigerian tax legislation, and corporate financial management.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, leadership, and executive presentation skills.
• High level of professional integrity, accuracy, and ethical standard.
