We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Group Chief Executive Officer
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary
You will transform a high-level thesis into market reality by engineering the systems, securing local pipeline assets, and establishing the operational discipline required to scale across multiple countries.
Success is measured by your ability to move from a structural startup blueprint into an institutional platform that enables exceptional local developments.
Oversee the vetting, strategic onboarding, and lifecycle management of incoming Project CEOs across the continent.
Enforce the implementation of the Afrihood "Hub-and-Spoke" model, ensuring localized developers seamlessly plug into our operational, legal, and technological frameworks.
Institutional Finance Execution & Compliance:
Manage relationships with premium multilateral financial institutions, sovereign credit guarantee companies (e.g., Shelter Afrique, InfraCredit), and private credit desks.
Ensure strict ring-fencing of project-specific escrow accounts and audit all drawdown requirements to unlock multi-billion Naira institutional tranches cleanly.
Supply Chain & Operations Governance:
Champion the Afrihood Central Procurement Desk, ensuring 100% centralized sourcing of structural materials across all regional spoke projects to eradicate inflation fraud and cost variance.
Maintain rigorous oversight over our active Lagos launch portfolio (Aize Court, Uresa Court, Zaphire Court) and future continental pipeline developments.
Shielding the DNA & ISO Standards:
Act as the ruthless gatekeeper of the Afrihood DNA: Sustainability, Afrocentrism, Community, World-Class Standards, Integrated Living, and Industry 4.0.
Defend and enforce the company's triple ISO quality certifications (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001) across every footprint, executing zero-tolerance anti-dilution clauses if quality or governance is compromised.
The Ideal Profile
Experience & Qualifications:
We are searching for a high-caliber corporate general, an executive who possesses a rare blend of deep institutional discipline and the operational agility to manage street-level execution partners.
Academic/Professional Pedigree:
An MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Corporate Governance, Project Management, or a related discipline from a reputable global institution is highly valued. Premium professional certifications (PMP, CFA, etc.) are a significant advantage.
Proven Scale Leadership:
8 to 15+ years of executive-level experience (COO, MD, Partner, or Senior VP) managing large-scale networks, asset-light hospitality platforms (e.g., international hotel groups, Oyo frameworks), large agent networks, or premium real estate asset management firms.
Institutional Fluency:
A deep background in management consulting (ex-Big 4 preferred), structured project finance, or institutional investment banking.
You must speak the language of credit risk committees and multilateral development banks.
System-Builder Mindset:
A track record of developing, implementing, and enforcing rigid Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across highly decentralized operations.
Uncompromising Integrity: An analytical, process-driven mind with zero tolerance for ethical shortcuts, operational slippage, or data discrepancies.
Our Ideal Candidate:
When history looks back, we want people to say this leader took a powerful continental vision and successfully built the institution that redefined how Africa builds cities.
If your ambition is merely to manage an already established company, this role is definitely not for you.
If you have the execution grit to build a vision into a legacy, we want to hear from you.
What We Offer
This is not standard corporate employment; it is a founding executive placement. The successful candidate will receive:
A competitive executive compensation package structured for an early-stage enterprise.
Significant performance-driven milestone incentives and long-term equity-alignment tracks matching the growth of the institution.
The opportunity to shape a continental development platform from day one.
A vehicle to build a legacy that directly redefines how African communities are developed for decades to come.
