Job Title: HR Lead

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced HR Lead to oversee and strengthen the organisation's people operations.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for driving recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee records management, and retention initiatives while ensuring that established HR systems and standards are effectively implemented and maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from workforce planning to onboarding.
• Ensure vacancies are filled within agreed timelines and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Coordinate seamless onboarding processes, ensuring employees are equipped and ready from their first day.
• Oversee probation reviews, performance appraisals, and employee development processes.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
• Monitor employee engagement and culture metrics, providing timely reports and recommendations.
• Support employee retention strategies and workforce planning initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and statutory obligations, including PAYE, Pension, NSITF, ITF, and Group Life requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve HR systems, policies, and processes.
• Provide HR insights and recommendations to support business growth and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of progressive HR experience with proven recruitment ownership.
• Strong experience in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
• Sound knowledge of Nigerian employment regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
• Excellent organisational, documentation, and record-keeping skills.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR reporting tools.
• CIPM certification or membership is an added advantage.

Salary
N700,000 - N1,000,000 (Negotiable based on experience).
