Job Title: Experienced Nanny

Location: Jahi, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time (Live-In)

Job Summary

• A private family in Abuja is seeking to hire a highly experienced, mature, and hands-on nanny to care for two school-age children.
• The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of proven nannying experience, preferably with diversified or high-standard families. This requirement is non-negotiable.
• The family is looking for a calm, emotionally regulated, disciplined, adaptable, and proactive individual who can provide structured childcare support while maintaining a warm and nurturing environment for the children.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and age-appropriate care for two school-age children.
• Maintain structure, discipline, and healthy routines for the children.
• Supervise the children’s daily activities, homework, and general wellbeing.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children as required.
• Perform housekeeping duties related to the children, including:
• Laundry and ironing of children’s clothing
• Organizing children’s rooms and belongings
• Maintaining cleanliness of children’s areas and items
• Support the children’s emotional, social, and behavioral development.
• Accompany children to activities, appointments, or outings when required.
• Maintain professional communication with parents regarding the children’s progress and needs.
• Adapt easily to the family’s routines, standards, and parenting style.
• Ensure the children’s safety, hygiene, and overall welfare at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a nanny (mandatory).
• Previous experience working with diversified, expatriate, or high-standard families is highly preferred.
• Female candidate between the ages of 30 – 40 years old.
• Must be emotionally mature, calm under pressure, and highly responsible.
• Strong disciplinary and boundary-setting skills while remaining nurturing and respectful.
• Must be hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Good personal hygiene and professional appearance.
• Ability to cook simple, healthy meals for children.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be adaptable, trustworthy, discreet, and dependable.
• Good spoken English and communication skills.

Preferred Qualities:

• Childcare certifications or training are an added advantage.
• First aid knowledge is an added advantage.
• Long-term commitment and stability in previous roles preferred.
• Only qualified and experienced candidates who meet the stated requirements will be considered.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
