Job Title: Server & Kitchen Operations Assistant

Location: Citec Estate Jabi, Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Server & Kitchen Operations Assistant to support the daily operations of our food production kitchen and corporate catering service.
• The ideal candidate will ensure food quality standards are maintained, coordinate communication between the store and kitchen, assist with inventory processes, support cafeteria operations, and provide operational assistance during events and outdoor catering.

Key Responsibilities
Quality Control:

• Monitor food quality, taste, presentation and portion sizes before meals leave the kitchen.
• Ensure meals meet the restaurants Kitchen quality standards.
• Check that recipes and portion sizes are followed consistently.
• Report any quality issues immediately to the Head Chef or Operations Manager.
• Ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices are maintained.

Kitchen & Store Coordination:

• Receive daily kitchen requisitions.
• Work with the Storekeeper to issue ingredients and supplies required for production.
• Ensure all items requested are accurately issued and documented.
• Maintain proper communication between the kitchen and store to avoid delays.
• Report shortages before they affect production.

Inventory Support:

• Assist the Storekeeper with stock control when required.
• Verify quantities issued to the kitchen.
• Support periodic stock counts.
• Help maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure stock movement is properly documented.

NRS Cafeteria Operations:

• Serve customers professionally.
• Process sales accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of the serving area.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Report daily sales and operational issues when required.

Events & Outdoor Catering:

• Assist with event preparation and packing.
• Help load equipment and food for outdoor catering.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Ensure all event items are accounted for before and after each event.
• Support smooth execution of off-site catering operations.

General Operations:

• Assist with any operational tasks assigned by Management.
• Ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• Work collaboratively with all departments.
• Uphold company policies and operational standards.

Requirements

• Experience in hospitality, catering or food service is an advantage.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Physically fit and willing to assist during events.
• Basic inventory or stock management knowledge is an advantage.
• Honest, dependable and proactive.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
